In a rare public appearance, legendary producer Robert Cort spoke at the University of Pittsburgh, in front of hundreds of people. Robert Cort has produced over fifty films in the last twenty years collectively grossing over $2 billion dollars. But one of the projects he is most proud of is the novel ACTION! he has just written chronicling the past fifty years of the film industry, blending real characters with a fictional narrative demystifying how the business works and what really goes on emotionally behind the scenes. In 2001, Save The Last Dance became the tenth of his productions to gross more than $100 million in worldwide box office. Other films he has produced are: Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure, Cocktail, Runaway Bride, Mr. Holland's Opus, Hand That Rocks The Cradle, Three Men And A Baby, Arachnophobia, Jumanji and Roommates (which was shot in Pittsburgh).
