Kevin Kerwin and Kate O'Neil spoke to students about their first feature film, Filmic Achievement. It screened at the 24th Annual 3 Rivers Film Festival, and Kerwin and O'Neil were glad to meet with students to discuss it. They spoke on the intricacies of independent filmmaking, theories of comedy, the mockumentary aspect, and difficulties with actors. The film chronicles film students at UNY competing for the Filmic Achievement Award; using a mockumentary approach, the film satirizes film schools in a hilarious manner.
